Student Bakay Yusuf (1st grade, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, The Netherlands), leader of Contribution Team, said, “It was disappointing that there were not many opportunities to do outside activities while studying abroad due to the spread of COVID-19. I’d like to express my thank to the university officials for hosting the sports competition that will be an enjoyable experience for international students. Among today's sports events, tug-of-war is the most anticipated. The sports competition is more exciting probably because I participate in such events after a long time and today's weather is sunny. I want to make precious memories by participating in all items.” Also, KIM Min-jin (4th grade of YU Department of Electronic Engineering said, “This is the first sports competition that I participated in while attending college. I have high expectations because main events of the university have been significantly contracted in the recent two years due to COVID-19 and I participate in these events after a long time. I will participate in various items with foreign students and leave pleasant memories during my university life.”
